Cameras, Cars, and Checkered Shirts

Plodding along here; when a painting gets too wet to work on, I just pick up on another one. Haven't worked on this for a while— I darkened the lines on the left side of the blouse (they were too faint) and then highlighted a few of the places where the light hits it the strongest. Also redrew the camera so it doesn't look so wonky anymore— it still needs refinement— and put a lot of detail on the parked cars on the right. Oh, and repainted a couple of the buildings in the background, also on the right side.

Last night I sat with this one in my lap. The figure on the right looked chunky and oversized to me, so I redrew him a little smaller, and filled in a bit of the details behind him. I still have to get to those store windows and paint in the faces of the pedestrians. But I figured out how to space the rivets on those two underpass beams! Next time...
