Order vs. Chaos

The foreground in this one can easily collapse into confusion. I've been painting in dark areas that will eventually be covered with medium-to-light tones, but I have to also keep an eye on patterns, ripples of darkness and light in the marsh grass. Otherwise it's just going to look like static.
