I really needed some time off. Painting is like any other job in some ways; I treat it (or try to treat it) like an office job, five days a week. The pieces I've been doing over the last few months have all gotten to the point of tedium, but now it's time to pick up a brush and get serious again. The landscapes are a good way to get back into it, because they're looser, so here's today's start:Stone Tower Winery, work in progress, (click on image for larger view)
I added a little Alizarin to the clouds in an effort to keep the painting from being too greeny/yellow green overall.
