The Best Laid Plans

A couple of weeks ago, I was optimistic about finishing 5 pieces by the end of the month, but Life intervened, and my self-imposed deadline has come and gone.

Here's this afternoon's work:

I spent a lot of time on the figures. That left shoulder on the guy looks too high to me; I'll take a better look at it and re-draw when it dries. Looking forward to doing that back wall, actually. And the window view of the town street and the green mountain on the right.
