The air in the house must be very dry; it's causing the wooden stretchers to shrink and now I've got to pull the canvas tighter over that upper left-hand corner.
Added some color with a cranberry glaze on the waiter's vest, maybe too bright now. Might have to tone it down. Also: still not satisfied with the green marble.
