The diverse nature of human skin is really something. Some of us have pink undertones while others are more of a tan color. This is evident in the people in this painting, and it's been a challenge to try to capture each individual correctly. I mostly worked on three people on the left today; the young woman in the blue dress is distinctly tan while the man near her has warmer, rosy undertones.
