To Start the Week

I'm still excited by the wedding reception table painting, and started on it first thing this morning.

The background figures are probably more visible now. They'll be subtle in the finished work, just dark, shadowy shapes. Otherwise I think the whole thing is going to get rather chaotic.

And it was time to get back to Nature again:

Looks very green right now; the grapevines will go more of an ochre color soon.
