Fun With Gesso

I finished stretching two new canvases today, and took the opportunity to prime them with gesso, prepping them for the first layer of paint.

Here's one; it's 22" x 32":

Not sure what's going on it yet.

Then, I worked on coordinating the blue areas on this one:

And one more for the day. I keep noodling around with the flesh tones, and it now appears I'll have to repaint the background, making it lighter in areas where it's the same value as some of the skin. Worked on the glass of cola on the right, as well.
