The Week Begins

I'm hoping to get some paint on most of the works in progress this week; the yard calls, however, and there are many dahlia bulbs that are sprouting and in need of a nice bed in the soil. So we'll see what happens. Meanwhile, I tried some sand color in the foreground shallow water and painted in the horizon on:

One thing I can tell you right now, though, is that shoulder on the left side of the painting has to be fixed; she looks too hunched over.
