Every time I look at the reference photo, I'm reminded that the light blue in the actual pool water is much brighter than what I've painted on the panel. So since I was already correcting for the water ripples today, I decided to add some Emerald Green to the usual mixes of Manganese Blue and Blue Azul with white. It has livened up the color—surprising, considering how brilliant Manganese is, usually.
