Watery Progress
My initial vision for this painting had the slightly sunburned boy/young man in a ring of lighter water, surrounded by darker water. It's starting to work; I added a lot of light color into that central area today and painted over some dark ripples. Drying continues to be a major problem on this piece, especially with the very dark blues. Sometimes I have to wait a couple of weeks before I can work on it.
