The last time I floated what I thought was going to be a beautiful, deep reddish glaze over the wooden tabletop, it didn't work. It looked awful when it dried, so I've tried to recapture the brighter reds in the grain. Next time I'll have to redraw the darkest grain lines. After that, it's just a matter of completing the spoons details.
