Buried deep in my paintbox was a tube of Cadmium Yellow Deep, which, it turns out, when mixed with Thalo Blue produces a really nice, vivid-yet-natural green. So I've done some experimentation on the poplar painting with it, though it's mixed with some other wet paint on the canvas. Once it's dry I'll try for better definition.
