When I Went to Bed, It Was Halloween; When I Woke Up It Was Winter

Last night saw a big drop in temperature. I'm not surprised we had no visitors; I wouldn't want to be wandering around in the cold, either. There was a wind, which has carried over to today, and it's blown away most of the leaves on the trees. So it is officially the Cold Weather Season.

I've been pushing forward on this new painting, now taking a break:
