Making A Mess
I'll never get used to the way the first layer of paint slides around on the smooth panel. I have no control. There are lap marks galore, and despite my good intentions, I end up with raised brush marks everywhere.
Over the next few months this will transform into a very lovely piece— you'll be surprised— but right now it's a mess.
