Today, which has been rather dreary (like most of the days in the last week), made me consider the option of making the house color a cheerful yellow instead of the sad blue color it's been for a while now. I keep changing the color, and it occurred to me that the main reason I haven't wanted to work on this painting is because the blue is depressing. So I'm trying it out and will let it dry for a few days, then see if I think the yellow's working or not.
