Now that Tuesday is finally out of the way, I feel it's okay to start a new painting. I've spent the last few days working on the trace and transfer process which, while it's not a substitute for actual drawing, will allow me to move forward more quickly than if I just made notations on a grid. And time is of the essence for me these days.
However, the tracing paper makes the whole process extremely messy and I have to wash my hands every few minutes. At least it's taking my mind off the news, which is pretty bad and depressing.
