Turned out the Permanent Carmine was a good match for the wig at upper right; I had been afraid I wouldn't be able to reproduce that violent crazy pink.

Right Now This Looks Like Chaos
I have to remember not to be seduced by the raised stroke produced by a loaded brush when working on the hair; in order to be photorealistic, the surface has to be smooth as glass.
Turned out the Permanent Carmine was a good match for the wig at upper right; I had been afraid I wouldn't be able to reproduce that violent crazy pink.
