Planting, Not Painting

Over the last few days we've purchased a number of herbs, vegetables, and annuals. I'm giving up on the perennials; I spend an inordinate amount of money on them, and very few of them come back. The ones that do run rampant! Anyway, I've been doing some planting and weeding, and have my work cut out for me.

Meanwhile, I did make that little lime in the bartending painting a bit larger. Tonight I'll wire the back and varnish it, and tomorrow it and He Knew Better will go off to the gallery.

Already, though, I'm planning the new work. There are three that I'm excited about: Evening Star Café, In Case of Emergency, and the commissioned piece, which so far has no name.
