Every piece has its own problems. This one bothers me because the right half looks like it needs something else. I toyed with the idea of painting a deer, but decided that was too kitschy; still, the composition seems off balance and I don't want to add too many more tree boughs; they'll obscure the sky. The actual brushwork is going well, at least. And I think I'm keeping the atmosphere I was looking for in the first place.
