One age-old rule of realist painting is that as things recede into the background, they get lighter and bluer. It's a trick of the atmosphere. I added some blue glazes to the buildings on the right, but made the trim on the buildings on the left too bright. I'll have to tone them down next time.
Also worked on the tree-shadowed, dappled street, and some of the foliage.
