Reception Painting

Three years ago, I had a show at my local gallery, and this lovely person was stationing the wine and snacks table. I loved the image of her standing in front of the frames, and got pretty far with the painting before burning out completely on all the tiny details. Picked up on it again today; those berry branches still need a lot of berries, but I think the wine glasses on the back shelves are now done.

SO much more left. The face and hands; the two trays; the wine bottles, the ice... Oh, and the little scene in the mirror.
