I concentrated on the hair and blouse today. The hair needs more detail, though it's looking pretty good now, and the checkered blouse— well, it's a little too painterly for me. I might have to rethink how exactly to handle it.

Blouse and Hair
So, I'm still disappointed that I can't enter this one into a competition, but there really is a lot of work to do to finish it, and every time I sit down at the easel, I find even more. Maybe next year.
I concentrated on the hair and blouse today. The hair needs more detail, though it's looking pretty good now, and the checkered blouse— well, it's a little too painterly for me. I might have to rethink how exactly to handle it.
