Back To Reality

As much fun as it is to speculate about new work and be tempted by the idea of mining the photo archives for landscape ideas, I have to finish some pieces for upcoming shows. So it's back to work.

I've spent some time recently looking at how other artists set up their palettes for painting skin tones, and have applied some of those ideas on this one; I can see, though, that the modeling needs to be more pronounced.
